Since 1983, Space Coast Cancer Center (SCCC) physicians and staff have provided the most comprehensive cancer care in Brevard County. On this page you will find services provided by SCCC. We are proud to be leaders in Florida as the first practice to participate in quality studies utilizing national guidelines and treatment pathways, as well as establishing the yearly Survivorship Summit in October and Cancer Care Symposium in November.

Chemotherapy Education

The term chemotherapy refers to the use of medicines or drugs to treat cancer. The effectiveness and side effects of chemotherapy have improved substantially over the past 10-20 years. Your Blood

Some types of cancer cause changes in your blood cell production. Often, white cells are produced too quickly and they don’t have time to mature. So you may have too many non-working white blood cells.
